Yes, I am...

Alive, that is! After a rough last couple of weeks, I am finally back in control of not only things around me, but me as well. Oye, what a time! Just to play catch-up on a few things... I'm still slowly working on the TMP kit as time and energy allows. I'm still very easily fatigued, and have cut down on a good many things, however designing isn't going to be one of them. ;-) Life with the MIL was ok. Things were nice at first, but she started butting heads real bad with William, being uber critical of how he reacted to things, and being extremely negative with him in how she talked to him. I picked up on that, and am not only having to retrain and correct William with his words and actions, but mine as well. (Bad, bad momma!) The ice storm that has wiped out most of the US clipped us by about *that* much earlier in the week. We had a good amount of rain, but the cold air was just far enough behind that instead of the inches of ice they were saying we were going to have, only became a light skimming of it for about an hour instead of all night. The big game is only 2 days away! Any predictions? I was so hoping that the Broncos would make it this year, but they decided to show their losing team the last part of the season. They either bring their good team or sorry-tush team when they play, and are never consistant from week to week. Ah, oh well.. still lub them anyway. :-) (GO STEELERS!) ... *snicker snicker* Can't think of anything else.. have been wired like crazy because of all the drama going on as well as with these hormones that someone prescribed me to help stem off the excessive bleeding. I can't get in to see a doctor until Feb 11th, because only one medical facility in our area accepts Medicare on top of the advantage plan I have as well as taking new patients that aren't in the stages of soon-to-be-mommyhood. :-/ At least I can get in to see someone, and if it looks like surgery is the way (which is what I'll be pushing for hard), then they can get me to one of their surgical docs instead of the FNP I'll be seeing. Gotta start putting my list together for when we head out into the cold in a couple of hours for banking and shopping. No idea what we need except "snacky foods" for Sunday. Hubby can be such a wonderful help sometimes. *hehehe* TTFN y'all!

Thoughts n prayers

Hi y'all... Heads up and fyi only... May have to go to the hospital/ER due to my PCOS. It's started with a vengence, and things aren't very pretty at the moment. Am not able to see a doctor until Monday afternoon at the earliest (of docs that are under my health insurance that are taking new patients), so we're having to do some med stuff at home and over the phone to stem off the excessive bleeding. Feel like total crud and a half, so be patient with me, m'kay? Love y'all bunches.. now i gotta go lay down yet again...

Broken house blues

Seems I'm not the best wifey-poo in the great big wide world. *le sob* Yesterday evening when I was in the process of getting dinner ready with a giant pot of home-made clam chowder, I broke my house. *doh!* I peeled my taters, and have always been nice when feeding the garbage disposal in small batches so that it doesn't get overwhelmed in the process. Night before last, I did some drain cleaning before toddling off to bed, and between eating taters and that colon blow, the kitchen sink decided to get bound up and spewed forth its mighty contents all over my kitchen floor and under the sink. Yesterday was bad enough as it was with the MIL being uber ugly, and then the sink decides to have a tantrum. SOOOOOO NOT NICE!!!! Have I ever said that owning your own home is kinda like having the Money Pit? At this point, the only sink that works is the one in our bathroom. The only potty that works is the one in our bathroom. I don't even wanna think what's next! o.O I'm trying to now figure out how to get my dishes clean. Shower perhaps? OH JOY! This morning I did some cleaning that I actually had some control over. I've gone into 4shared, and cleaned it up a bit. As an FYI, the following posts/files are now gone until further notice from my blog: Autumn Sunflowers Grunge Flowers Xmas Bows Winter Magick Winter Magick Add-on I'm starting to design a Valentines kit to go along with the Tickle Me Pink Alpha from a few days ago. Not sure exactly how big I'll make it, but have some things in mind I want to make for it, and hope you'll enjoy it. :-) Ok, gotta figure out what to do with getting my kitchen back into some sort of normal state. Today is going to be a good day, yes indeedy it is! I'm up, I'm awake, I'm alive, I'm breathing. There's always something to be glad about, and I'm very glad for those things. :-)

Bit of housekeeping

I'm going to be cleaning up my 4shared acct tomorrow, and deleting my older freebies, including my earliest kits this weekend. Not sure exactly when I'll be doing this (not right now at least), but it will be by the time the weekend is over. Am in a funk, and it's coming from my bipolar. Not sleeping and feeling extremely unappreciated makes me want to take my toys and run home as fast as I can. Not all of this is stemming from my graphic creating and blog, but it's not entirely blameless either. Anyway, just wanted to give y'all a head's up in case you have something you'd like to get and haven't done so yet. Once taken down, it may not (or it might, depending on my mood later) come back at some later point. Sorry for things being so short and rather blunt, y'all. Hurt feelings have a way of making me be rather unsociable and bubbly. Maybe later I'll have more to say. Just right now am going to go back to my shadowed corner and lick my wounds. Later.

Tickle Me Pink Alpha and goodbye

NOOOOOO... The goodbye isn't from me! *hehehe* Wanted to see if'n you were paying attention!! ;-) Guess I should get that part outta the way first, hrmm? I've been the BIGGEST fan of CSI, ever since it came into being eons ago. Tonight, Gil Grissom is saying is final goodbye to CSI forever, at least with the acting portion. William Peterson is going to continue being an exec producer for the show, but I can understand his desire to break away from being in front of the camera. Not that there's anything wrong with the other shows, but CSI Miami is just junky glam in my opinion, and CSI NY is more along the same lines as NYPD Blue, and I always hated that show. There's only one CSI, and that's the one that comes from the City of Sin: Las Vegas. So today, MIL and I are watching the CSI marathon that's going on Spike until the final episode comes on tonight after Dubyah does his thing on tv. I'm going to record it, and make sure I have a big box of tissues next to me. It stinks that he and Sarah are no longer together. If they can't end together, then I hope like heck he goes off into the desert with Lady Heather. I so love her delicious character, but I have my reasons... ;-) Ok, now to my freebie.... I have been overwhelmed, and ticked pink and purple with yellow pokadots all over with how well y'all have enjoyed Gothique Romance!! So, I wanted to share that with you with my new design, Tickle Me Pink Alpha! It has both upper and lower case letters, numbers 0-9, and basic punctuation. It's cute, chunky, spunky, and fun with the colors of Valentines all over from top to bottom, left to right, up and down, side to side. If you decide to download this pretty, would you be so kind as to leave my mojo spider some goodiness in return? He's been feeling a bit down the last couple of days because of some young man who shall remain nameless (William!) being nothing but a pill, and making me want to yank out my hair until it's all gone. (I already have a couple of bald patches just today alone!) I think I'm going to design a mini-kit around this color selection, and will begin working on that in the next couple of days when I have time or need a break from my devil child. My MIL has enjoyed seeing my creations, and has watched me a couple of times mess around with finding the right color combination for this alpha, grinning as I click away on my mouse. Anyway, I'll let ya get back to your regularly scheduled finger clicking (mebbe you can click a time or two for me as well? *s*) and enjoy this pretty from my heart to yours. ~~* Download no longer available *~~

Holy strombolie Batman!

WOW!!! o.O o.O o.O Gothique Romance has hit the 200th download mark!! Wowzers!! I dunno what to say, except thank you for all of your comments and support!! I was actually very nervous with sharing it based upon the fact that it was so big, it was dark, a bit of grunginess mixed in, yet having that femme side kept to it as well. Generally you don't see dark and femme mixed together, except in very rare instances. We're within the hour of when Daddy and Grandma should be arriving. She's not bringing the "special surprise" with her like I was expecting. Will explain later when little eyes aren't reading everything I type. *lol* I'm so wound up, I can't see straight. I didn't get anything accomplished really, but I've been busy since the moment I got up this morning (shortly after 5am). No idea what I've done today except drop a cart-load of cash at the grocery store that I can actually remember. Oh yes, and dishes, three full sink-full's of dishes as I sit here and wonder why my hands are chapped and sore. Welp, sounds like Daddy's truck is pulling in, or else it's the people who are renting our pasture out for their horses. It'll be an interesting week, that's for sure! I've already decided on my next freebie: an alpha that's whimsical and chunky, cute and spunky, perfect for all those pastel-styled Valentines kits. If I can entertain Grandma enough, I might start designing a pastel Val kit. Just kinda have to wait and see what is going to happen time-wise. TTFN y'all, and have a wonderful night!

Oopsie!!

For got to mention... If this is your first time here and you saw my post about Gothique Romance, you can find 3 alphas I designed with the same theme here: http://whispysdzines.blogspot.com/search/label/Gothique%20Romance This is in case you might be interested in snagging those too. Anyway... back to your regularly scheduled blog hoppping/snagging. And now I've gotta scoot and get my booty to cleaning. Oye. o.O

Gothique Romance freebie

Hi y'all...
I was able to get everything finished up and previews made of GR for ya before the weekend is over. WooHoo for me! Hubby's Mom is going to be coming to visit us from out of state for about a week while she recoops from having surgery on her knee. I don't know how much time I'll have to create and blog, so I might be quiet for a bit. That's why I've tried to work hard at getting this pretty finished.

This is my biggest kit/creation yet! Well, at least volume wise. *hehehe* There are a total of 9 papers (700 X 700 - 300 dpi) and 51 elements (various sizes from 200-300 dpi). Not all elements are shown in the preview above. Also, elements shown are at various sizes, some full, some reduced for the preview. I'm still working at my displays, so if it appears a bit cluttered, I deeply apologize. Haven't figured out a way to do previews yet that show a majority of what is held within, but also doesn't look like my son has gone willy-nilly after having 50 pieces of candy. *hehehe*

If you so desire, please feel free to dowload the entire kit ~~ Download no longer available ~~. It's not too big, just over 7 mb with everything included. If you love this kit as much as I have loved making it for you, my mojo spider would love some of your luvins', or even an extra click or two over ---->> *there*. ;-) Please do enjoy, and feel free to share my blog link with friends you think would like my creations. I'd love to have new faces stop by, and making new friends in the scrapping/graphic community is one of my resolutions this year. *s* If I don't talk atcha in the next couple of days, I'll see y'all next week! TTFN!!

Garden word art

Hi y'all... Not much going on today. Feel like crud, and am in a rather sour mood. Decided to play a bit with overlays, and came up with this lil pretty. The drop shadow is included with the word art, in case anyone was wondering. :-)

If you like and wish to download, you can find it ~*~ download no longer available ~*~. If you do download, please leave some love. If you wish to not do that, a click on one of my google ads would be sweet too. Thank you so much for your love and support.

Penny for your thoughts

I never dreamed that the alphas I've designed would be so popular! The GR alpha that's in pink has nearly 90 downloads to it, and it's only been up for a couple of days. I know that might not seem like much to some, but that's just amazing to me! I have a poll going for the next 2 weeks over on the side at the top. If I designed an alpha with input from you, my snagging audience, would you be willing to pay to get it? The price would be minimal, and would be available here on my blog. I'd like your honest opinions, pretty please? If you'd rather comment here, that would be great. Or, just click an option over ---->> there under the poll. Also, don't forget to click a Google ad! ;-)

Couple of blog additions

Hi y'all... If you come here as a regular, you'll notice a couple of new things that you haven't seen before. As everyone has been affected by today's economy no matter where you live in the world, it's hard to make ends meet no matter what you do. I don't generally share much of my personal life, but maybe doing just that might be good for the soul. For almost a year now (will be a year in March), I have been suffering from a very debilitating illness, poly-cystic ovarian syndrome (or disease). It has completely taken over my life, and I've been struggling with it nearly every day since it started and had a name put to it. Hubby and I are a one-inclome family: He is the one that works outside the home. He works in outside sales and doesn't bring in a commission unless a sale goes through to the very end. Even if it falls through after contract negotiations, he doesn't get the pay for it, only the base draw that must be paid back if he doesn't sell anything for the week. I've been on disability for a year and a half now because of my bipolar and other MH issues. It hasn't been until the last few months that I've become eligible for health benefits under Medicare, though that still takes a good portion of my check every month. Sad to say, but my disability is almost as much as what he's been able to make the last couple of months, especially for November and December. We're considered too rich by assistance standards, but are barely able to make the basics last for the entire month without some help from family. I am hoping that I can get good enough in my scrap designing that I can be invited to join a store. At least that's what I'm hoping for. It wouldn't be much money, but every dollar helps when you don't have many coming in to begin with. If it helps to pay for one gallon of milk a month, or a few dollars for gas, it's well worth it imho. Where am I going with all of this, you might be wondering? You'll find the small additions to the right of this text, in the right column: a donation button and several Google AdSense buttons. My AdSense account was just set up, so right now the ads showing up deal with my posts about having pneumonia, nothing about scrapping. *hehehe* Hopefully that will change soon! I'm not asking for money from anyone. I am not sure how much we're going to be looking at in order for me to have surgery to help correct my current medical condition. If I continue to have the excessively heavy bleeding like I've had the past year, I will prolly end up having to have major surgery, to the point of having an emergency hysterectomy. The docs don't want to do that, but I'm tired of feeling the way I do to the point of being in extreme pain nearly all the time, and being completely bed ridden when "that time" is occurring. I'm hoping that once my new cards come in the mail, we can get down to hot-n-heavy business with this surgery. I think my blood levels are high enough to where they will perform surgery on me without serious blood loss, but am not sure. I know that the last few freebies have been popular, especially the alphas. The comments have been wonderful, and I've used those to help design more towards what you, my audience, would like to have in your collections of goodies. If it's not too much to ask, if you don't wish to leave a comment, would you consider clicking on one of my AdSence boxes instead? If you feel the desire within your heart, and wish to donate, that would be more than I could ever ask for. Any money received will go towards two things: money for my surgery and tools to create more yummy goodiness for you to create with for your own designs. Again, I am not wanting to come across as begging. We're all hurting with today's economy, some much more than others. Hubby and I are so very blessed to be one of the few that don't have outstanding credit debt. We both own our own cars (though they both need some major work on them for oil leaks and new tires). We own our own house. We pay for everything in cash. The downside is that we have no health insurance for our William, and we've got to get finalized testing for him in order for him to receive special programs once he starts school this coming fall. But, we can only tackle this elephant one bite at a time, and right now that first bite comes with getting me better. Because if I can't get better, then I won't be of any good or use to anyone around me. Anyway... enough of that. Time to get down to business of creating again, and seeing if I can get the final touches on Gothique for ya in the next couple of days. Thanks for reading my gobbly goop, and let your fingers do some clicking if you so desire. ;-)

Another RAK!!

Oh my goodness!! I haven't been in to check my mail, and didn't see this until a bit ago. I've been RAK'ed again! This time, HB-FIC Scraps has blessed me with an absolutely GORGEOUS blog LO! I've been able to figure out how to get the blog header uploaded and showing, but haven't the foggiest idea of how to get the background to come up. Will have to tinker around with it a bit more before calling in the big guns to assist me in my newbie HTML skills. *hehehe* Thank you both for such a wonderful surprise!! I'm thinking 'boutcha both, and hope you're getting better m'lady!

Another alpha for Gothique Romance

Ummm... tired of 'em yet? *hehehe*
Since Twilight came out on the big screen, I've seen a tremendous jump in not only sig tags being made with the theme, but also any kind of scrappy stuff as well. I've tried to take that into consideration with the suggestions that have come through, and tried to twist that into my designs so that anyone either scrappy or taggy in nature might have use of these pretties. I think for now, however, this will be the last one since it incorporates the other base colors of the palette. Of course, if someone twists my arm just enough, I might be cajoled into doing another. *hehehe* >;-)
Again, the preview doesn't do the actual alpha much justice. As the last one, both upper and lower case letters have been designed along wtih numbers 0-9. No punctuation and/or symbols have been made since the font I was using didn't allow them.
If you so desire to download these pretties, you can find them ~*~download no longer available~*~ at 4shared. My mojo spider is lovin' the luvins from y'all!! ;-) Please just make sure to not leave him hangin' and lonely! *g* Am going to see if I can come up with a few more pretties, and I think I'm going to stick a fork in Gothique and have her uploaded for y'all by the weekend. I'm up to nearly 10 papers and last count of elements was like at 45, at least. That wasn't including ribbons and bows. o.O TTFN y'all!

Another alpha for Gothique Romance

Morning y'all....
I'm soooooo sleepy. I haven't been sleeping well the last week or so, and am really beginning to feel it. I'm grouchy, moody, and swing at the blink of an eye or if I think you're looking at me funny. Not sure if it's because of "that time" being late (it's late about a week) and I'm feeling absolutely miserable, if it's due to just general stress, the fact that we haven't had the sun shining for about the same amount of time (my bipolar is affected big time by weather), or just because of the time of year that it is. I dunno... I am waiting on my insurance cards to get here so I can see about getting an appt scheduled to see a new HD (head doc - aka psychiatrist). Have been med free for over a year, but am thinking I need at least another anti-depressant at least to help with the mood swings. They get to be too much some times, even for me. Oye! o.O
Anyway.. enough of that...
You're not here to read about that stuff anyway, are ya? *hehehe* You're here for my next freebie, right? ;-)

I was going over all the wonderful comments about my first alpha, and tried to incorporate a few of the suggestions that I received about the next one. I've tried to femme it up a bit with something a bit more curvey and not so sharp and masculine. I've also used one of the papers I've created as the primary color for it. So you have a bit of an idea of what I'm doing behind the scenes. *hehehe* §;-Þ

The preview doesn't do it any justice as before. I have created both upper and lower case letters as well as numbers 0-9. The symbols didn't look right with this font, so I didn't do anything with those this time. Maybe next time....

If interested, you can download this pretty from 4shared right ~*~download expired~*~. As always, my wee mojo spider loves your luvins, if you so desire to download. They help give me ideas on what people like, suggestions on how to improve my work, and ideas on what I can do next time for yas. ;-)

Make it a good one y'all! I'm off to play a bit more and watch the Backyardigans make each other mad. *hehehe*

Rustic Christmas repost

Sorry, but for some reason Digi-free didn't pick up on this addition. So am reposting it only, no changes have been made to it. :-)

Here it is, the finish to Rustic Christmas!! I decided while drug induced to make this kit into taggers size, so papers and such are resized to 700 X 700, though I changed the light paper a bit since the original F/S one didn't show the detail in it's smaller form. The preview shows a portion of the element pieces that are included, papers, thanks, and TOU are included in the zip as well. You can snag this creation from my heart ~~ download expired ~~. Since 4shared is being a toot about comments, if you decide to snag, please do leave my mojo spider some love here on my blog, or over there in my shout box --->>. It's very muchly appreciated!! *winky wink*

Gothique Romance Alpha

I wasn't able to go to sleep last night. I think I had myself pumped up about Gothique Romance, and my brain was in overdrive as to what I would do with it and ideas I was trying to come up with for elements and additions. I think I was able to get a grand total of like maybe 3 hrs of sleep when I finally crashed after about 3 am this morning. Doh! o.O

I haven't ever done an alpha before, but am hoping that some of you will enjoy this first piece of Gothique! The alpha contains both caps and lower case letters, numbers 0-9, and some basic symbols. There's no drop shadow on any of the pieces, and individual letters are larger than what appears in the preview. To get a better view of the preview, just click on it and it will bring up a larger image of it since the squished version doesn't look very attactive. ;-)

If you find this irresistable and wish to snag, please head on over ~~ download expired ~~ to download it! I'd like to know what you think of this first alpha of mine. If feedback appears to be positive, I'll look at doing a couple of additional phont/glitz/paper combinations that I think y'all might like to use. Oh, and before I forget, my wee mojo spider is all spunky about your comments! He was up reading them late last night, and was quite surprised that older freebies of mine have been a hit as well. ;-) Welp, I'm off like a prom dress to do some more playing so I can stay awake. I think today is going to be a nap day for William, whether he wants one or not. *hehehe*

Next kit - Gothique Romance

I've come up with my next color palette - Gothique Romance. I'm not a "true" goth, but I've always loved the dark side of life, and absolutely fascinated with vampy/gothy things. So, to get ready for the upcoming Valentines "holiday", I've decided I'm going to have a dark-ish kit. Hence the name, Gothique Romance. :-) Figure it would be best to start early, not knowing what life is going to throw at me. *hehehe* Nothing like trying to plan ahead.

Rustic Christmas

Here it is, the finish to Rustic Christmas!! Happy New Year!

Welp, I am alive, and actually feeling quite human for a change! I can't believe I've been gone for a month from just about everything around me! Oye!! I am sooooo much bettah, bettah than buttah in fact! I didn't actually start to feel better until after Christmas, and it's been just over a week since I've had any medication for coughing, though it still doesn't take much to make me winded. I'm so very blessed to have my wonderful Hubby. He's been such a trooper this past month. He took off from work the two weeks I was real sick, and has been back to work a week since we came back from Mom's house for Christmas last week. If it wasn't for him, I dunno where I'd be! I finally have Rustic Christmas finished!! Woot to me!! (I'll be making a post to that in a sec, wanna keep that separate from just playing catch-up with y'all. :-) ) I was able to do some snagging of some fantastic holiday blog trains that took place last month for Winter/Christmas, and hope I can get going on some of the ones for New Years that came out beginning yesterday/right after Christmas. I'm also playing catch-up in my graphics groups, so y'all should start to hear more from me in the next few days. MMmmm... can't think of much more to share. We had a wonderful Christmas. William was so surprised to find that Santa was able to bring him everything he wished for for Christmas. He received a Cyber Spy Laptop computer (just like Daddy's computer!), a kid-tough digital camera, an Action City Parking Garage playset, with a bazillion and one cars to go along with it. He also received a Cars playmat and a mega-sized wooden train building set that's been put together and taking over most of his bedroom. Hubby and I received a fancy-schmancy new digi camera from Mom. Our old one (have had it 5 years to the day William was born) decided to head off into digi-gadget heaven a couple months ago, and I've been hoping we'd be able to find a way to get a new one. I also got appliances for Christmas!! WOOOOTTT!!! Never been happier getting a toaster oven and a grill!! *hahaha* I was able to see my Grandma Paula that I haven't seen in two years, and spend time with my b-i-l's parents. It was all fun and gewd, with too much food and stuffs to eat! I took the last of our first blueberry crop and made it into a blueberry crumb pie for dessert. Was told I'd have to make 2 next year, or at least by the time we start harvesting blueberries this next season. Nothing like being ordered around and told what to do! *hehehe* Ok.. well, need to finish up zipping and uploading for this kit for y'all! See ya in a few!!
