Life has a funny way of making you adjust your priorities. That's what has happened to me and my family. Sunday night, we were hit by traumatic storms, and we are still numb with trying to find out what we need to do to start pulling our lives back together. We believe a tornado hit very close to our house, on top of being terrorized (quite literally) by baseball size hail. We've lost our roof, 10 windows, water, our back door, not to mention the volume of cleanup we haven't even started to work on.

God is awesome, because we are safe and sound. What has been damaged and broken can be repaired and replaced. However, we have no idea where we are going to come up with the money for our deductible for our house insurance. I'm still so very numb and know I'm on the verge of breaking down, but can't quite yet. We're still trying to get people set up to come out here to survey the damage. The first bid has come in at nearly $8000 to replace the roof. Hubby was supposed to start working nights at his new job, that that just isn't possible at this time due to someone needing to be here 24 hours a day with having our house unsecure until repairs begin.

Please pray for us. I really don't know what else to do. I now understand how people feel after a hurricane and having everything ripped totally apart.
