Gothique Flair Unveiled!!!

Hi y'all... Welcome to my first PTU kit, Gothique Flair! This has truly been a work of art from the heart, with much time spent on going into detail for each and every piece. There are a total of 12 papers (700X700) as well as 72 outstanding elements! The previews below don't do this kit any justice, and not everything is shown! Also, before I forget, no drop shadows are included, they are on the previews only for show purposes.
Besides the 12 fantastic grunge-styled papers, the elements include the following:
4 glitter bling flairs
3 blossom clusters
8 bows
3 butterflies
4 candles
4 glitzy corsets
3 gothic-styled crosses
2 beaded wire doodles
5 flash flairs
10 flowers
7 frames
4 "broken" hearts
4 moons
4 textured skulls
4 glittered paint splats
3 tags
WHEW!! Now, I don't know about you, but unless a graphics store is having a sale, it's hard to find a kit of this size (especially with a goth feel/theme) for anything under $3.00. However, you can buy this entire kit for only $2.00!!! What a steal is that?!?
If you care to buy, just click the "Buy Now" button right below, and please include the e-mail address you would like download information sent to if different from the PayPal address you use to purchase with. If not, download information will be sent to the e-mail address used. Please give me 24 hrs to process orders since I will be doing this manually.

Now, if you care to not purchase, I have a treat for ya too!
So not to keep anyone from enjoying this beautiful treat from my heart to yours, I have created a mini kit, some things similar to what's in the PTU kit, and other items unique and original just to the freebie. ;-) Not everything is shown with 4 papers as well as 23 beautiful elements. Download link is below, don't forget to leave some luvins for Mojo if you care to snag the freebie!

Another alpha for Gothique Flair!

Morning y'all...
Been up since before 5 am this morning, and am really beginning to feel it. Finally got everything in working order with our water well. We learned a very valuable, expensive lesson with that lil project yesterday, I might add. But, at least everything is back to normal, or as normal as can be around these parts. *hehehe*
William had a wonderful surprise when he woke up this morning. It appears the Tooth Fairy visited last night! She found his wee tooth just perfect for her tooth collection, and left in its place 3 shiny gold coins (the new dollar coins the Treasure Dept was trying to get people to use instead of paper money) worth a dollar each! She also left him a letter, telling him how proud she was of how he has worked hard with caring for his teeth, brushing and rinsing every day and night. He hasn't let go of either the letter nor the coins since he found his treasure. I remember when the Tooth Fairy left a quarter for teeth, guess she's been affected by inflation and the current economic issues as well. *grin*
I have been a busy beaver today! I have a new alpha for Gothique Flair for your snagging pleasure. You can download it below at the bottom of the post. It uses 2 more papers from the kit, comes with both upper and lower case letters, all numbers 0-9, and basic punctuation. I hope you enjoy! The preview doesn't do it justice, but none ever do with alphas. At least that's how I feel about 'em. ;-)
Gonna go jump in the shower and see if I can get this house put back in order after yesterday's grande adventure. TTFN and TGIF y'all!

Gothique Flair Alpha freebie

Hi y'all...
On for only a few. Life is never a dull moment around here, that's for sure! Between William losing his first tooth, my dr appointment yesterday, and just this morning the water pump blowing up on our water well while Hubby was getting ready for work, life is just a bowl of cherries for me! I tell ya, sheesh! Much to say, not enough time to even sit and think...
Here's my latest freebie, the first alpha for Gothique Flair. It uses a few things from the kit that I am hoping to get finished up in the next few days. The alpha itself has both upper and lower case letters, as well as numbers and basic symbols. Am unsure if I'm going to make the entire kit a freebie, or creating a mini-kit for free, and selling the main kit here on my blog. Need to chew on that a bit more before making up my mind.
If you decide to download, make sure to say hi to Mojo! He loves your luvins, or maybe take a clickiet-click or two on any of the google ads to the right over ---->> there. There might not be much of interest at the time, but every click helps. ;-) I hope to be able to get another alpha designed by the weekend, if not by the time it's over. Today has truly thrown a wrench into things, and if anyone hasn't ever experienced this before, life doesn't exist without water. Between me swinging, and William being wonky, it's a rough day for all. Thank goodness we have power! The only saving grace in all of this!

Seeking your opinions!

I'm wanting to know something from you, my blog followers/kit snaggers/stalkers. *hehehe* And, I'd really like your honest option about it. I have a poll going on at the top right over --->> *there*. This comes from looking at downloading history on 4Shared, and seeing what is popular and what kinda needs to be dumped in the File 13 Bin. When you're looking for something new and irresistable, do you go for the whole tamale? Or do you only like bits and pieces - papers only/elements only? I have seen a greater number of downloads for the element pieces of my last couple of kits over the paper packs that have been made. I know when it comes to making tags, you use element pieces much more often than paper pieces. I also noticed that when I had my Gothique Romance up, there was a much greater desire for the alphas. What I'm trying to say is this: What would you prefer being able to use in your creations? Do you just want elements? Alphas? Are papers even useful for your work? Or would you like to have the entire kit so you can mix and match as you please? I'd really like your feedback, because that would help me in creating things you would like to use. I know many have downloaded, and I would honestly like to see what you've made. I've been graced with a couple of links people have sent me for their work they've done. I'd love to see more if you use my things. I'd really like to see that there is some good coming from the things I make. I'm not asking for freebie tags or anything, but it's nice seeing what I have done be put to use by others, and that people are actually benefiting from what I make. I hope that makes sense. Guess I should get to doing something with my energy, like washing some dishes or something. That way I don't have so much to do once we get back from the doctor's office in a couple of hours. TTFN y'all!

Looking For Spring and other things

Morning y'all...
Much to say and do, and so little time....
I go in for my ultrasound/sonogram early this afternoon. I'm trying very hard to not be wigged out about it, though my imagination is trying real hard to get the best of me at the moment.
Hubby is uber sick. :-( Poor thing, I hurt for him. I'm going to see if I can prod him into going to the doctor after I get finished with my testing today because I think he's got the world's worst sinus infection brewing behind his eyeballs.
I also have to start getting financial records together to see if we can get some assistance to pay for William's ER visit a few weeks ago after the horse kick. We're looking at over $10,000 right now alone in basic bills, not including specialists that were called in as well as the ambulance ride and special CAT/MRI scans that they did because of the type of injury we were potentially looking at.
Before sharing LFS, I wanted to share the next palette of a kit I'm working on. It's another Gothique style kit called Gothique Flair. I think it's going to be pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. *hehehe* Last count is sitting at 12 papers and 39 elements. It's similar in style to Gothique Romance, but a bit darker. *grin*
Here's the preview for the elements for Looking For Spring. There are a grand total of 48 elements involved, lots of buggie creatures, flowers, and pretty pastel things. I have included 2 owls even! *grin* To download, just click the link below the preview. Make sure to say hi to Mojo, or if you have a minute or two, click one of those them thar boxes and see what might come up. I appreciate it beyond words, and so will the hospital! ;-)

Faerie Twilight Elements

Happy Saturday y'all...
Welp, it's a chilly, rainy day today here in East Texas. It's nice, because we really need the rain. And thankfully, it's the slow, steady kind so the ground can soak up every last drop that we desperately need. However, the downside is that it's making it very hard to stay awake. o.O
I finished up the elements for Faerie Twilight this morning, and have them all zipped up and ready for yas. I may tinker around with this kit a bit more, so don't be surprised if you see an add-on in the future for it. I'm still not content, but am glad of the results so far. I'm also busy working away on elements for Looking For Spring as well. Mebbe those can get done by the end of the day today as well? One can only hope!
The preview doesn't show all that this pack contains: 58 stunning pieces!! Some are shown full scale, and others have been reduced. The preview doesn't do these pretties any justice at all, I might add! If you decide to snag, y'all know what to do with a click or two, or luvvy words for Mojo! *hehehe* Download link is below. Am off to give the dogs a dry towel so they don't have muddy paws messing up my sparkley floor I spent all afternoon working on yesterday. I always thought football players were woosies when it came to pulled groins/hamstrings. I take all those unkind thoughts and words back! It hurts like nothing I've ever felt before! *doh*

Faerie Twilight Papers

Welp, ok, so I am only hung up on the elements for this kit. *hehehe* Thought I would zip the papers up and at least share those since my design bug is in the process of getting his fix at the moment. This paper collection has a total of 12 papers to it, all 700X700 for taggers. They have various textures and patterns, and I think they turned out pretty nice if I do say so myself. *grin*
As always, luvins are wonderful if you snag! Let me just figure out what I'm going to do with these silly elements, and I should have those zipped up and uploaded by the end of the weekend for ya. Download link is listed below preview. Now, it's time to tackle this tile floor that's been neglected for too long! *doh*

Looking For Spring freebie

Hi y'all...
Seems I've kinda hit a wall with Faerie Twilight. Mebbe it's because I'm trying too hard to design it? Not really sure, so it's been put on the back burner for a bit until I am satisfied with where I'm going with it.
So in the mean time...
I have a new freebie for yas! It's called Looking For Spring, because that's exactly what I'm doing! *hehehe* I love the cold, but am anxious about our blueberry crop that we should be getting this year. We haven't had much rain at all here in Texas, and hope that they aren't affected by the drought we're already under. Maybe the next couple of weeks will bring us some good, steady rain without the excess of storms, thunder, lightning, tornadoes. *ick*
I'm not one who's good with bright colors, but I thought this color palette made for a good combination. I hope you like it too! I'm going to do an element pack to coordinate with the papers in the next few days, so be on the lookie-loo for it. ;-) Papers are 700X700, saved at 300 DPI. If you decide to snag them, please do leave some luvins. My mojo spider has been rather lonely, or else you can do a click or two to the right, and that would make my heart happy as well. ;-) Just click the link below the preview to download, TTFN! Oh, and TGIF too!! *grin*

The good... the bad.. and the ugly....

Welp, I said I would do an update, so here it be.... :-/
First off, William....
He's doing sooooooo much better than he was 2 weeks ago!! He's finally back to his bouncy personality, and we have progressed so much back with potty training. He regressed back so bad, it made me cry each time we had a bathroom "episode" that ended up turning into a screaming fit that could be heard down the road outside it was so loud. He still has a significant mark along the side of his face between his right eye and temple. He wants his hair cut, but doesn't want anyone to look at his face. He loved going outside and being around others, and now he wants to be inside away from the world because he's ashamed of how he looks. The pictures below show where the injury happened, some of the deeper bruising just barely showing on his pale skin. He's so conscious of it, he refuses to have a camera take his picture. He's the biggest camera ham, and always takes the best pictures. To have him run and almost shriek in terror when a camera is brought out, hurts my heart tremendously. If anything makes you squirrley, you might wanna scroll by the pictures really fast.
For me....
Well, I had my doctor appointment for the PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) last week. Met with a great nurse practitioner that reminds me so much of my OB/GYN doc I had when I was preggy with William and had all those complications with. Same type of bubbly personality, but is professional at the same time. Very hands on, and helpful with answering any questions, makes herself available as much as possible either in person or on the phone. Anyway... she did this whole gamma of blood tests (I have this MAJOR fear of needles), and arranged for me to have an ultrasound test run (takes place a week from today) to see if I'm going to be a good candidate for one of the newest IUD options available that would prevent me from having to have radical surgery, as well as seeing if there's more going on with my girlie parts than what can show on your good ol' fashioned pap smear tests. Not 30 mins after we got home that afternoon, she's on the phone with me (for prolly a good 30 mins at least), letting me know one of the blood tests came back really abnormal. My thyroid is completely and totally not working. That's part of the reason why my moods are so out of control as well as one of the reasons why my weightloss has hit a brick wall. So, I get started on the synthroid replacement treatment, and am completely wiped out from the doctor's visit. She tells me that she won't be back until Tuesday (yesterday), and will check in on me when she gets back into the office. I'm actually feeling quite good as of yesterday (before her phone call). She calls, she has more bad news about another blood test that came back way off the charts. Because of the PCOS, there's a test that's done that checks for sugar/insulin resistance issues. That came back way off the charts. I have a brother that has Type 2 diabetes, though I thought he was insulin dependent (found out I was way wrong). She tells me that the test is bad enough that I'm now considered borderline diabetic, and she's going to begin treatment for diabetes. Thankfully, this type of diabetes is the one that is monitored via diet, and medication. I don't have to do insulin injections, however am unsure if I'm going to have to monitor sugar levels with blood testing or not. She said that she wants me to take this second medication, and when it's time to test my thyroid levels, this test will be run again too. She said at that point, if the test is abnormal again, she'll make a referal to another doctor for the diabetes, and we'll go from there.
The last 24 hrs have been super hard for me. It's hard to not feel overwhelmed, depressed, and alone. I know diabetes isn't one of "those" diagnoses like cancer and so forth. However, it's a heavy pill to swallow (no pun intended). Hubby's called me several times today just to check in on me, and I've cried each time I've heard his voice. I know I'll be alright and things will be okay, but my bipolar is really wanting to get out of control with the ideas/images going on in my head, it's hard to remain focused on what's going on at this moment instead of tomorrow or two weeks from now.
So anyway, that's what is going on with me, and why I've been so quiet. I'm hoping to change that with my designing. Hopefully you'll enjoy what I come up with. (That's another reason my mojo spider could use all the luvins you'd be willing to share too.) I've got some laundry I've been chugging through during the day that needs to be folded and put away. Don't think Hubby would like to come home with his chair overflowing with it. *hehehe* Maybe once that's done, I can get back to the FT kit, and maybe do a sneak-a-peek showing for yas to whet your tastebuds. ;-)

Faerie Twilight wordart freebie

WooHoo, I'm on a roll!! I hope you like this wee pretty I came up with to show off the Faerie Twilight alpha I have for sale here on my blog.
If you find it irresistable, please download it at the link below. Also, please make sure to leave my mojo spider some luvins. I received some rather earth-shattering news yesterday about my health situation that I'm extremely upset about, and will share that later along with pics I was able to get of William's major booboo. Figure it would be better to share that sort of thing apart from my graphics shares, so be sure to check in later in the day to get all the goings'-on of my life. ~*~ Download no longer available ~*~

PTU - Faerie Twilight Alpha in Blue

Hi y'all...
Gosh, it feels like it's been ages since I've been on the computer for any great length of time. Oye!!
I've been busy while in hiding, and I hope that you'll enjoy what I've come up with. I'm designing a new kit called Faerie Twilight. I have designed an alpha that I'm going to attempt to put for sale here on my blog and see how it goes. It uses two papers that are in the kit. I really liked how it turned out.
It contains both upper and lower case letters only. There are no numbers or symbols at all. However, I think it can be used for many different things with the fanciful/magickal feel it has to it. You can purchase it via the PayPal button below for only $1.25! If you find it irresistable and decide to buy, please make sure to use an e-mail address that you use since that is where I will be sending information as to how to download this beautiful creation from my heart to yours.
I'll be back later with a freebie, hopefully if things don't get too wacky with William having to adjust to Daddy being back at work for the first time in nearly a month.

Prayers for William

Hi y'all... On for only a sec here. I was going to use today to catch up on all my bloggy friends, and collect awards you've so graciously given me the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I can't do that. Yesterday afternoon, William was helping Daddy muck out the barn where we have horses stabled for a couple that used to rent the house we're living in now. In the blink of an eye, William was kicked along the upper part of his check/eye/temple by one of the horses, and we had to spend all evening/part of the night in the ER. After an intensive series of CAT scans and x-rays, the docs said that he was able to go home, no bleeding on the brain, no broken facial bones. He has a wicked bruise/scrape where the hoof made impact (thank goodness the horse didn't have shoes on!), and has one wicked headache/concussion. He is so not himself, but who would be after an experience like that. His personality is altered, and is much more aggressive than the sweet boy we know and love. Hubby is still asleep, we took turns last night waking William up every couple of hours just to make sure he would rouse, and we could give him meds for pain as well. I think that in the next few days, he'll begin to feel like himself once again. However, any extra thoughts and prayers won't hurt. His poor angels, they prolly have no hair after this last "event" in his life.

Tickle Me Pink and football

Before I go any further, I'm like one of the biggest football fans around. I should really be getting our food stuffs ready for the game so that I'm not running around like a headless wild chicken, but no, am here, finishing up TMP for yas. *hehehe* I'm soooo dedicated to my designing, good thing Hubby's not here!! *snicker snicker*
Ok, I wanted to get this out to y'all before the game starts, and I think I've been successful! It's not as big as previous freebies of mine, because it's been hard to design with my medical issues as well as MIL/William issues, and have been in a rather ugly funk for the last few weeks. I think I'm starting to come out of it, because of the burning desire to design the last couple of days. I hope you like what I've put together for yas!
As I said, it's kinda small. It has 6 papers and 26 elements, not everything shown in the preview above. I think it will go nicely with the alpha I designed previously, at least that's what I've tried to do. I'm still practicing with my previews, and am trying to find a happy medium of how much I should show and how much I should hold back. It's not as skimpy looking as what is above, I promise! Oh, it's also tagger sized only, before I forget!
If you so desire to download TMP, I'd sure love some luvins or a click or two to the right! I don't do it to feed a starving ego, but it does help me know that people enjoy what comes from my heart.
Okies, gotta scoot and get my oven turned on for my blitz-prep ahead. GO STEELERS!!
