I miscarried last night. And emotions are just now starting to hit me. I wish I was numb like I was last night. Hubby's not here, had to go to a meeting. Hopefully he'll be let loose early, he's just as torn up if not more so than me. I thought I hurt before, but nothing compares to what I'm feeling now. So extremely sad, words can't describe it.

I'm not very talkative at the moment, but maybe you'll understand why. My body is trying to miscarry the baby, have been dealing with bleeding since Thursday morning. Ultrasounds aren't picking up any signs of the baby actually being inside. The egg sac is clearly developing, elongated as if something is inside, but nothing can be detected further than that. I go in for another ultrasound Monday morning, and Hubby and I have been on our knees since our emergency appt Thursday that this is only a fluke, that baby-to-be is just fine inside, and that we'll be able to see lil squirt moving and wiggling around inside Monday morning. I don't generally ask for prayers or anything special, but if you pray, please say a prayer for our youngling-to-be. I know that if a miscarriage is meant to be, then nothing will stop it. However, prayer never hurts. Please pray for our wee one, and for the pain and angst we could be facing if it ends up being that our wee angel is no longer with us.
