Hubby didn't go to work again today. After being cajoled into calling my Mom last night, they put their heads together, and decided for me that I was going back to the doctor today. After having a few too many sleepless nights, and a cough that is only making me more mad, more sore, more frustrated, and more pained when stuff does come up (rust is such an ugly color, even compared to the nasty neon green that was coming up), it's time to call in the big drugs. After a couple of x-rays, and the doctor looking at me this way and that, he said that I'm on the cusp of having walking pneumonia, and was going to treat me as having such just so that I don't end up spending Christmas in the hospital in an oxygen bubble instead of around family. I now have a very sore tush after getting a nasty shot, am on even more evil drugs and cough medication (am under the influence of it now, so I can't be held liable for what I might say while completely and totally intoxicated and oxygen deprived). Should I mention the fact that it's been exactly one week since I last had a smoke? I'd really like to have one, but because my heart does some really funny flip-flops on any anti-nicotine replacement programs, I'm doing this cold turkey. I'm really happy, Hubby is taking this journey with me. Though I think he'd like to rip my head off, I'm being goofy enough on my meds that I cause him to think otherwise when those nic cravings get to be too much. Welp, wanted to let ya know what was going on. I don't think I'll be able to finish up Rustic Christmas before Christmas gets here. It might have to be finished up after Christmas, but hey, will give ya something to use for all those Christmas morning pics. *winky wink* .... *cough.. sputter.. cough* Ok, I've been found out. Hubby caught me up by the evil machine, and gave me a pat on the head to let me know I have to go back to the stuffed chair to serve out my sentence until I get bettah. I guess if I want to remain in control of the remote and watch Bravo tonight, I need to get going. TTFN... *cough cough*

Welp, seems I have decided to have my annual bout of bronchial pneumnia. Every year, I get a sore throat that turns into severe bronchitis or pneumonia like nearly over night. Hubby took off from work yesterday to take me to the doctor. Hours later, I smiled at the doc and said: Lemme guess, bronchitis, right? (since my fever hasn't been above 100) He shook his head at me saying: How did ya know? My reply: After getting this every near for nearly years, I kinda have an idea what's up. So, I'm out of commission. I have more planned with Rustic Christmas, but until the cough is gone (for the most part) and I don't sound (and smell) like a really old person with my rattles and sputters, it's strict bed rest for me. Psssstttt... Hubby's finally asleep, and William woke me up with his own coughing fit, causing me to have mine for this time of night. Everyone's back asleep except for me and this evil mouse that has invaded my house and hunting for his night snack it appears. X-( Hopefully I can go back to sleep on the couch in a few once my breathing meds catch up with my nose, and I can sleep a bit more before my heavy-duty meds are due to be taken again. Gotta love the drugs that make your mouth go numb before even swallowing them. MMMMMMMmmmMMMMM!

Hi y'all... I'm trying to get William out of the tub and into some warm clothes. Seems a cold has decided to be his new best friend as of yesterday, and he's just as sick as can be. Last night was rough, with the biggest melt-down that he's had in a very long time. Nothing like crying for almost 2 hours inter-mixed with lots of screaming. Oye! I haven't really been able to do much with this kit since being sick myself, on top of life continuing to go on around the holidays as well as with William and Hubby being at odds with each other. There's never a dull moment around here, that's for sure! I've been out of the loop the last several days, am real behind on my group mail and stuff. I haven't disappeared, just sorta-kinda out of commission. I have PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome), and when my lil "friend" comes to visit me, it's for a long time, and not a very nice experience. This has been prolly the worst bout since being diagnosed with this disease several months ago. Thankfully, Hubby and I have been able to work out a "system" to help stem off the substantial blood loss so I'm not so sick and weak, but it still does a number on me. I have more in the works for Rustic Christmas, and have some more things to make for it before sharing the kit. I am debating on whether doing it full sized, or for taggers, or doing a combo of both. I think I'll figure out what to do while resting the next few days, and hopefully will be able to share more before the end of the week gets here. Please stay safe and warm y'all!
